Article Writing Tool

I recently came across a valuable tool for Internet marketing and article writing - it is called Instant Article Wizard or IAW.

It can take quite a bit of time to research, gather all the facts and information, then put it into words.

Instant Article Wizard does just want the name implies, it makes writing articles easier and quicker, and is perfect for anyone whether you can write or not.

IAW is a brand new article writing software tool that is currently in Beta testing. It is scheduled for a full-release sometime in January 2011 but until then, you are invited to test it out <em>FOR FREE</em> and provide feedback so that they can make this best it can be for article marketing.

I've taken a look at it, given it a try with a few articles and was impressed with what it can do in a short amount of time. Just by entering one or more keywords, it searches the web for you and comes back with many websites that you can use information from to write your article.  Everything is done within the software including copy and paste from websites, arranging the wording, changing the wording so that the content is uniquely yours, and much more. You really need to give it a try to see all that it is capable of and how it will benefit you.

I'm certainly going to keep this one in my arsenal of Internet marketing tools.

All I Can Say Is "WOW"

Happy Sunday Everyone,

It is a happy day today!  The snow has finally stopped and it is only a few more days until my family is home for the Holiday.

Can't wait...

I immdiately  thought of you when I found something very valuable this morning while doing my rounds on the Internet.

An incredible program with tons of really great information - I'm super impressed, and I haven't even gone through half of the information!

I'm so impressed, that I couldn't wait to let you know about it.

I have no doubts that you'll be jsut as impressed.

What I found is called Traffic Dashboard.

It is perfect for anyone who has a website that they would like to promote. It doesn't matter if you are selling something, offering a service, or just simply want more traffic (readers) - this method will work for everyone.

I jumped on this one - no hesitation. Especially because the price is fantastic for what you get!

What you'll get

  • Traffic Strategies - some that I have never heard of and plan to start using ASAP
  • Traffic Tips
  • Traffic Techniques
  • Tons of information
  • and this is just for starters.

It is laid out so well that you won't have the usual "overwhelmed" feeling that you get when you buy something like this. Kim really took the time and made this a top-quality product, with us in mind.

Through trial and error, I have learned not to get sucked in by the majority of so-called "guru" techniques, but this one caught my eye and rightfully so - It Really Is Incredible.

Check it out for yourself  and you'll see what I'm talkin' about  - why I'm so excited about this product -  Traffic Dashboard

Happy Holidays!

What is Your Perfect Marketing Strategy?

Normal 0 false false false EN-CA X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

Do you dream of working for yourself, to own your own business, and make your time your ownÉ It doesn’t matter what you do, just that you do it, and that you enjoy doing it. Owning your own business, whether online or not, is hard work. It takes a lot of time to establish yourself, let alone make enough money to live comfortably.

It doesn’t matter is you are technically inclined or technically challenged. Whatever you choose to do should be something that you are truly interested in doing, something that you will enjoy doing for the long-term, and preferably something you are good at. Some people are good with their hands, some are good thinkers, some are good talkers, and some are good at all of the above.

Online Opportunities

Online opportunities abound for any type of business – offline or online. Knowing how to market each type of business is a specialty of good internet marketers.

The way a business is marketed will depend on what they would like – do they want to go global or would they prefer to market to the local audience only,  do they want to become known nationally, regionally, or target their immediate area? One of the first decisions to be made is how far-reaching they want to be. That will determine the strategy that the Internet marketer will take.

Online Marketing Strategies

There are a number of different online strategies that can be employed. The business can choose to have a complete website built, a one-page website, a blog, or just do some article marketing, social networking, blog posting, etc. Each strategy can be very effective in its own way, if done properly by someone who understands what they are doing.

It is not that expensive to get a website up and running when you know how to create a website, how to optimize it, and where to go for the best deals.

An experienced Internet marketer will have a system set up that will eventually provide the business with a solid foundation on the web.

Article Marketing

One of the most important steps that you should take when marketing your business is to write articles, or have them written for you, and then submit them to as many article directories as you can. There are many writing services available if you don't have the confidence or the time to write your own, but I would stress that you take the time to find an article writing service or person that does quality work. Some of the article directories can be very picky about the content that they accept for submission.

When writing an article, target keywords should be included and keyword density should be calculated. This will help to get your article seen by your target audience. It is also necessary to include backlinks in your article, backlinks to the web page that contains more information on the topic - and the affiliate link if you are selling something.

My Recommendation

If you don't want to take the serious amount of time that it takes to submit your article to numerous article directories, there are automated software services that can help you with this task. I have tried a few of them - some of them are not very good, some of them are okay, and then one of them is excellent. The excellent one is the one that I am recommending to you today. It costs money...in fact, it is a monthly fee but in my opinion, it's well worth it for the serious internet marketer.

Unique Article Wizard

Option #2. If you don't have an extra amount of cash to spend on this service each and every month, I can help you. Along with my writing service, JD Copywriting, I offer an article spinning service (if you want your each article to be different for each article directory), as well as article marketing. When you hire me, you won't need to have the cash every month to submit your articles to hundreds and hundreds of directories - I can do that for you whenever you need it done - for a fee of course. But, my fee is much less than what you would need to pay each month for UAW.

Remember, article marketing with backlinks is one of the most important steps in getting your name out there - globally!

And it works, some of my websites have been steadily climbing since I started article marketing them.

Happy Marketing!

I'm Really Impressed

I have to say that it is rare that I am completely and totally impressed by software, but this is one exception!

I purchased The Best Spinner a little over a month ago now and have been using it almost daily since then. It was recommended to me as one of the best article spinning applications available. I can now confirm that it is aptly named. It is the best article spinning software around today.

It not only makes it easy to spin any article quickly and easily, you can spin it and receive up to 250 versions of the same article - spun into 250 different ways. So, if you are planning to submit your article to many, many article directories, you will have up to 250 versions to choose from.

WOW!

I'm not only impressed with the capabilities of the software, but the owner/creator is serious about his product too. There are regular updates, sometimes daily, and all the updates are automatically installed when you open up the software. No matter if the update is a big one or a small one, there is always some type of improvement.

The Best Spinner is definitely one of the best tool that I have purchased for my internet marketing business so far.

PLR - Private Label Rights

PLR is a not so well-known internet marketing tip. If your writing skills are not where they could be, you don't enjoy writing, or don't have the time to write - you can purchase PLR articles for use on your website, to submit to article directories, or to use as information for yourself. PLR is becoming known as one of the great benefits for marketers.

Like most things, some are good, some not so good. It takes time to find the "good ones"  I have found one such website that produces higher quality PLR articles and eBooks than most of the others -- yet they are not over priced.

The cost for the articles is very reasonable - especially considering the quality you get.

For this reason, I am happy to pass this information along to you. All you need to do is click on the links below, and you'll be taken to a page where you'll get more information on each as well as the option to buy.

P.S. The author of these PLR articles and eBooks is the person who got me interested in PLR. I bought and went through her PLR ATM course, found the information extremely useful and well-written. I then started my own PLR business called PLR Market Shop.

Site Build It!

This one is just "a little" off topic but it is something that I want to share with everyone. Site Build It (SBI) is an all-inclusive website building service – hosting, building a website, tons of information and advice, and great customer support. All that and you wont’ believe the price!

I have been using them for years - at least two of my websites were built using their proven system and I have no intention of taking them elsewhere. The SBI system is very easy to learn and use, and the customer support is great - not that I need it very often.

I have never experienced any "down-time" in all my years with them.

I given Site Build It (also knowns as Sitesell) a great big Thumbs Up!

Hosting Recommendation

When your research for your topic is done, it will be time to choose a domain name. This is a time-consuming effort as it is important to choose a domain name that is appropriate to your niche as well as one that will withstand the test of time. With millions of websites online, it is not always easy to find the right domain name. Research is key... you want to get it right the first time as you cannot change the domain name unless you want to start over.

More information and my recommendation for hosting your domain can be found at Marketing Strategy Today. Click on the Hosting link.

Enjoy!

Article Writing Service

Internet Marketers need to have links to their websites as far and wide on the Internet as possible. Articles that have been distributed throughout article directories are a great source of backlinks (remember to place a link to your website within the articles). The more articles that you have out there, the more visible your Internet Marketing website will be.

It is difficult to find the time to write that many unique articles along with all the other work that needs to be done to promote, and keep the content fresh on your website. This is where an article writing service comes in very handy.

I have come across an article writing service that does quality work, within a few days, and the cost is very reasonable.

If you are like me, and don't have the time to write your articles, try out this service. It's a good one...

Marketing Strategy #2 - BTF

Bring the Fresh is a must have if you are serious about Internet Marketing.

BTF website was created and is maintained by two extremely successful Internet Marketers. They decided early in 2010 to combine and share their knowledge with other people. The cost is very reasonable for all the information that they give to you. In fact, I bought it awhile ago and am still going through reading and rereading all the valuable information, tips and tools that they recommend. The information is passed along in a very relaxed, easy to understand manner. And if you don't understand something, simply go to the forum and you are guaranteed that someone will help you to get through it and understand it. Kelly and Mike (from BTF) regularly participate in the forum as well. They are also happy to answer any questions that have been directed to them.

The huge amount of very detailed knowledge and advice that they pass along to their subscribers is invaluable. It is a lot of reading and digesting, but if you don't try to get through it all at once, implementing it in chunks...you should do well.

I can tell you that I wasn't disappointed with the knowledge that I gained from them. I was excited and inspired...ready to get going immediately!

You will find many techniques that you have never heard of before - all successful and proven techniques.

All aimed at making <strong>YOUR</strong> business a success too.

If you would like to follow along with all the new marketing strategy information that I publish, you can also check out my website Marketing Strategy Today. Marketing Strategies

And we have lift off...

The Marketing Strategies website has been created and published as of today. There is much more information that I originally planned for so I have decided to break it up over a number of days.

Today, I'm starting with Wordpress themes. I will tell you about the program that I use to dress up my wordpress websites. I like this program because it is not expensive (important!), it is very easy to use, and has lots of themes to choose from. What I like best is that you can mix and match the headers, backgrounds, and themes. You can even upload your own to use with the preset designs. Plus, they are always adding more to choose from.

As well as the great designs, there are places to enter the all-important marketing strategy information, SEO, affiliates, and more...This is an all-round great piece of online software.

If you would like to see all the wordpress theme information that I am talking about, check it out at http://marketingstrategytoday.com/internet-marketing-strategies/Topics/marketing-strategies - this link will take you directly the to themes page (by-passing the Home page).

Enjoy!

The Holidays Are Coming!

Thanksgiving and Christmas are on their way. I know some people have already started their Christmas shopping. Others are preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Some are even getting their holiday dinner plans in order. Those people are the smart ones (not procrastinators like many of us are).

Every year, I vow that I will not wait until the last minute to get everything ready. This year, I am going to make every attempt to do just that - and avoid all the stress that comes with last minute planning.

I found a great Holiday planning book that will help me with the preparations, the decorating, the cooking, along with many other great suggestions to make the holidays better.

I just <b>have</b> to share it with you. Why shouldn't your holidays be just as good as I expect mine to be!

How to Cook Turkeys is where you will find the information for this fabulous entertainment book. There is not only this book, but more helpful recipe books are being added on a regular basis.

I'll share, as I find them...

PLR and Greyhounds?

Hello Everyone,

Let's try this again.

I have been very busy lately, working on getting a new business set up. It is very slow going but I am working away at it a little at a time. They do say that slow is better...that way, you get it right and the results are longer lasting. I have lots more to do, lots more to read, and lots of ideas but at least I am able to get started and will be learning as I go. It's exciting! It's scarey! It's Tiring! - but I am being positive that it will be rewarding in may ways in the end.

I have already published one piece that I completed (and had a lot of fun creating it too). I thought I would start with a topic that I am very passionate about - Greyhounds. I created a Powerpoint Presentation "About Greyhounds". It contains general and specific information that potential adopters, greyhound owners, and people interested in greyhounds should be aware of. The presentation includes a picture or pictures of greyhounds on almost every slide - IMO it's always nice to look pictures of greyhounds while you learn. The presentation is being sold as a PLR Powerpoint Presentation - that means that it can be bought and used however you would like - use it as is, or make changes to it and use it as your own creation. The only thing you can't do it resell it as your own.

You can find this PLR PowerPoint Presentation on Greyhounds at:  http://www.jdcopywriting.com/greyhounds.html

There is also the option of buying it as a PDF (you can't make changes to this one) but it costs less to buy.  Same page:  http://www.jdcopywriting.com/greyhounds.html

So, stay tuned. There'll be more to come...and who knows, some of it will probably be interesting to you too.

I have given my first attempt at making soap almost a week to set but it has not cooperated. Although the soap has gelled quite nicely, it has not hardened. When I cut it, it crumbles so it looks like I will be redoing this batch. But first I need to do some more research to find out where I went wrong.

I am not giving up. I am going to going to make it work...

Stay tuned for my second attempt.

My First Batch of Soap

Yesterday, I made my very first batch of handmade soap. It wasn't difficult but was time-consuming. The instructions that I copied from the web were incomplete and I had a few surprises. As a result, I don't think my first batch is turning out properly. I'm going to give it a few more days and if it hasn't hardened the way it should, I'll try again.

I have done some more research and now have a better soap recipe for next time.

What I learned from the experience so far:

- lye creates it's own boiling/heating action when added to water (made me jump)

- lye takes the finish off some surfaces (oops - lucky I was wearing rubber gloves as instructed)

- the ingredients need to be very carefully measured (I measured correctly but I think it is the recipe that I was following that isn't perfect)

- the ingredients have to be stirred constantly and forcefully for the mixture to thicken (I think I may invest in an electric hand mixer)

- there are many reasons why handmade soap may not turn out properly (learned this from a troubleshooting handmade soap website)

- it sometimes takes more than one try in the beginning to "get it right" - no kidding!

- it was interesting and fun, even if it didn't turn out as expected.

Going Green

With my last day of work at the end of this month (I officially retire in 3 weeks), I am looking at ways to save money as well as ways to eat and live healthier. I am going to start slow and work my way to living green as much as possible. Once I get "green" established, it is supposed to save money - and the environment.

Today, I bought everything that I need to make my own soap. Once I have that technique mastered, I am going to move on to making my own cleaners, shampoo, etc...

I have many plans for going green. I am going to keep a record of my progress here. Will let you know how I made each change, if it was easy or difficult, the results and the benefits.

One step at a time...

We're getting there, almost ready for Sandy Paws! One more week, then off to our favorite event of the year. We have been working so hard to get ready for this; it'll be so great when it finally gets here. Working Hard

With only 3 weeks left before we go to Sandy Paws, we have been working very hard trying to get orders completed and some more stained glass and other art done.

I sent a number of creations off to be finished, hopefully they'll be ready sometime this week. I hope they turn out like...

I finished a difficult painting yesterday. It took me a few weeks to complete this one (working on it in spare time) and I finally like the way it looks. Waiting for it to dry then I'll put the finishing coat on it and move on to the next one.

Denis has got some more small sun catchers done. He was going to use them as tiles, then decided to make them into sun catchers. They are adorable. He is almost caught up on orders then will be creating as many more pieces as he has time for.

I have a few more drawings done and ready to be framed.

We are getting there...

Getting Ready...

We are working hard for the Sandy Paws event. It is only a few weeks away now and there is lots to do.

Denis is working on filling some stained glass custom orders and getting new pieces ready for the show.

I have been getting some drawings done and some digital art ready for the show. Lots of new and beautiful designs. We won't be placing them on The GlassHound website until after the show - whatever is left will go onto the website for sale. Watch for new items as of mid-March.

Until then...watch for some warmth and sunshine.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010

Well now....

I'm home again today with a sick kid. It seems that I have been spending more time at home lately than I have at work. The drama never seems to end in my life.

The only good thing with staying at home is that I am able to get a lot more done than I can when I have to go into the office. Less commute time (which is also good for the environment), I get to spend time with the kid and the dogs, and I have a little more time for being creative. I am getting some new drawings done as well as some new digital art...just in time for our first show of the year.

We are going to be at Sandy Paws in Georgia the first weekend of March. Rowdy and TJ are coming with us on that trip, the rest of the gang will stay home (not alone :-) )

I am so looking forward to our annual trip south. We get to visit with good friends, have some fun and best of all, we'll be away from the cold and snow for a bit.

Denis is working hard on orders and new stained glass creations for the show. Between the two of us, we should have a good selection of stained glass, drawings, paintings and pictures.

One more thing, Measure's auction finishes on February 5, 2010. Dont' miss out on any of the 30 fabulous auction items. I know I have my bids in and will be monitoring it over the last few days of the GSNCR auction for Measure.

We made it!

We made it through last week, one of the worst weeks of our lives. We had a family emergency that started on Monday and continued right through til the following Monday when we got some good news.

We managed to get some work done, but our hearts just weren't in it and we had difficulty concentrating due to all the stress.

Why can't there be little ups and downs in life, not the extremes that we seem to experience.

Anyways, life is back to normal again and we are back to creating. Getting ready for Sandy Paws event that we will be vending at early March. We lost a week but are doing our best to catch up.

Life goes on...

Auction for Measure

Auction for Measure (Pat C Measuring)

Today, an auction started for a very dear greyhound that we know. His story is below. Please help if you can; there are lots of really nice items listed at

Auction for Measure

Measure was retired in 2008 due to an ACL tear which was repaired in 2008, but unfortunately, the repair didn’t work. In December 2009, Measure came into the custody and care of the Greyhound Supporters Adoption Group (www.gsncr.ca) so that he could be placed in a loving forever home.

Based on an assessment by an orthopedic surgeon, it was decided that Measure’s quality of life was being negatively affected due to the level of pain he was experiencing daily. In January 2010, Measure underwent surgery again in an attempt to improve his mobility and reduce his pain. The surgery, although expensive, has been successful thus far, but Measure’s recuperation will be lengthy. This auction is to help defray some of Measure’s medical costs. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

It's Wednesday morning and I am hoping for a no-stress day for a change. We have been going through a dog-emergency and have been spending a lot of the past 2-days with our veterinarian.

Despite our very busy few days, we have been able to keep up fairly well with business.

Greyt Auctions (www.greyt-auctions.com) will be hosting it's very first fundraising auction very soon. The auction is currently being setting as I write this. Look for some great items to help them out. Very soon....

Denis and I are still creating and creating in preparation for the first event of 2010 that we will be vending at. Sandy Paws (Jekyll Island, GA) is one of our "regulars" that we really look forward to. We get to meet up with a lot of our friends, help out one of our favorite groups, and go to a warmer climate for a week. What can be better than that?
The show runs from March 4-6. Fun in the Sun!

With everything new that we are creating, there continues to be new items listed on The GlassHound (www.theglasshound.com) on a regular basis so that you can get a good idea of what is destined for Sandy Paws.

Have a greyt day!

The GlassHound and Greyt Designs

It has been quite awhile but we thought it was about time that we got back to blogging about our lives, our dogs and our businesses.
Just an update - we have 3 websites:
The GlassHound
Greyt Designs
and now
Greyt Auctions

Greyt Auctions is our newest. It was created to help non-profit organizations and fundraisers with their auctions and raffles. All auctions and raffles are free of cost for the month of January to get things started. We need a few groups who would like to take advantage of the 100% return and post an auction or raffle to get Greyt Auctions going...If interested, please contact us and we'll help you get it all set-up.

Recently, we have added many new designs to The GlassHound and Greyt Designs shops. We have been busy getting ready for two big shows that we are going to be vending at in March and April. We are really looking forward to these shows.

We'll keep adding new designs as we get them done. Lots of plans for all the shops; lots of new designs in our heads that are waiting to come to reality...
